Colossians 3:1-2

If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ
sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.

Recently, my friend Amber and I deleted our facebook pages. It is something I have wanted to do for a while and it helps to have someone to do it with. I have really gotten sick and tired of all the worldliness and evil I saw on facebook. Like my mom once told me, "It might not be good, but it doesn't help you." How true those words are. I can be using my time that I usually used on facebook to serve God now! I am sure God will bless me for doing this.

Psalm 37:3-7

Trust in the Lord, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou
shalt be fed. Delight thyself also in the Lord; and he shall give thee the
desires of thine heart. Commit thy way unto him; and he shall bring it to pass.
And he shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light, and thy judgment as the
noonday. Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because
of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices
to pass.

Many times when we read this verse, we forget that the desires
of our hearts should be to do God's will. It doesn't mean God is going to give
us whatever we desire, because He knows best. If we commit our way to Him, He
will bring His will to pass. Once again we must patiently wait for God to show
us His will. Submission is the key to doing God's will. May God give us the
grace to patiently wait on Him and to fully submit to his will.
